"I am running to provide propertry tax releif to the people of Shelby County."
Lyle, 53, and his wife Susan reside in Shelbyille. Lyle is a manufacturing engineering supervisor with 20 years experience, and is active in the Christ Tabernacle Church. Lyle is also active as a coach for the Shelby County Junior Rifle Club, an a Boy Scout Merit Badge Counselor.
"The biggest issues in Shelby County are runaway property taxes and a lack of economic development."
Lyle looks forward to serving the citizens of the 3rd district by promoting a pro-active economic development county-wide outlook.
Gary Gergeni
Board District 8 - Okaw & Part of Windsor Townshisps
"I am running because I would like to see more unity among the communities of Shelby County."
Gary, 61, and his wife Sara reside in Windsor, they have three adult children Chris, 37, Matt, 35, and David, 31. Gary is a retired teacher of 30 years, and is active in the Broadway Christian Church, and also serves on th property team for the church. Gary and Sara are also active with Christian Outreach to Southern Africa as forwarding agents for the organization.
"It is important to be financially responsible while providing needed services to the citizens of the county."
Gary looks forward to serving the county and better reprsenting the citizens of the 8th district.

Dale Wetherell
Board District 6 - Clarksburg, Holland, and Prairie Townships
"I am running because I want to seve the communiy and bring a common sense approach to the board." Dale, 57, and his wife Diane reside in Stewardson, they have two adult children. , David, 28, and Zachary 26. Dale has been in the construction business for 38 years, and lends his skill and knowledge to Thrivent Builds as a Habitat for Humanity Volunteer. Dale is active in Trinity Lutheran Church in Stewardson, serving as church treasurer, and is also a member of the church Board of Evangelism. Dale is also currently serving as the Illinois Lutherans for Life State President.
"The biggest issue facing Shelby County is to control spending."
Dale looks forward to serving the resident of district 6 by exercising fiscal responsibility and "developing new sources of revenue "FOR the county instead of FROM the county!"
